WHO IS KORIS?
For those that don’t know Koris, we’re big on customer service, all things UC and Networking. We supply and support data infrastructure, unified comms solutions and associated consultative services specialising in Microsoft Teams, Mitel, Cisco systems, Meraki and HP Enterprise/ Aruba. We have a strong team of people who seriously know their stuff and so we’re able to offer highly tailored solutions, including managed and hosted services, based on our customers’ needs.
HOW HAS THE COMMUNICATIONS INDUSTRY CHANGED RECENTLY?
We’ve noticed a lot of change within the industry. Organisations are continuing to move towards the cloud but are becoming more considered about what it will do for their business as opposed to just following the trend. Our mix of business has already transformed from 32% recurring revenue in 2016 to 78% in 2019, which we see continuing as organisations transition commercial models, moving away from traditional CAPEX and towards hosted or SaaS OPEX solutions. This runs parallel to the technology transformation from hardware to software-based, virtualised and cloud-based offerings. We’re also finding our customers are utilising and implementing a lot more of the supporting eco-partners to ensure they’re receiving maximum benefit from the solutions they’re deploying, such as Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business. This includes data management, analytics and how AI can benefit their business particularly within Customer Experience.
WHAT WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE OF 2019?
In 2019, we came out of a period of users delaying decisions due to the announcement of Microsoft Teams. The exponential growth and success of Microsoft Teams, in a very short timeframe, exceeded all expectations yet brought new opportunities for our specialised consultative services to help customers seamlessly transition and adopt new ways of collaborative working. We saw, and continue to see, huge success in the design, implementation and supporting of Teams solutions including connectivity to Microsoft and the outside world.
WHAT ARE YOUR EXPECTATIONS OF 2020?
With regards to 2020 we expect to see continued incremental growth as more organisations place importance across all mediums on how they communicate with staff, partners and customers. Our technical team also anticipate increased migration to AWS and Azure due to customers wanting to remove complexity within their own environments.
ANY OTHER FOOD FOR THOUGHT?
We’re in a period of constant change and so putting the customers current and future needs first
should be at the forefront of every business. At Koris, we strongly believe that with happy customers, everything else will follow.
